University Biologists Presented Their Research at the International School-Conference for Young Scientists "Biosystems: Organization, Behavior, Management"

Students from the Biological Faculty of Samara University participated in the 78th All-Russian International School-Conference for Young Scientists "Biosystems: Organization, Behavior  and Management."

The conference was held in Nizhny Novgorod from April 14 to 18 at the Institute of Biology and Biomedicine of Lobachevsky State University. Over three days, more than 350 young scientists from 46 cities and 7 countries presented their research findings and discussed pressing topics in biology.

Additionally, participants attended lectures on trends and promising directions in biology delivered by scientists from leading research centers.

The delegation from the Biological Faculty of Samara University included:

·         Susanna Gukasyan, a master’s student in "Ecology and Conservation Biology" (Department of Ecology, Botany, and Nature Conservation), who presented a report titled "On the Accumulation of Oxalic Acid in the Leaves of Certain Aroid Plants from the Botanical Garden Collection of Samara University";

·         Darya Zabotnova, a bachelor’s student from the Department of Human and Animal Physiology, who delivered a report titled "The Influence of Diet on Sexual Maturation and Body Mass in Rats."

We asked the conference participants to share their impressions:

"This was my first time participating in a scientific conference in another city. Knowledgeable speakers, a productive atmosphere, and interactions with diverse yet friendly people — this was an invaluable experience for me," said Susanna Gukasyan.

Darya Zabotnova shared:

"The conference left bright and positive impressions. Participating in the 'Biosystems' conference in Nizhny Novgorod was a rewarding and enjoyable experience, blending science, culture, and networking."
