International Exhibition Seoul International Fair (SIIF-201) finished its work in Seoul

05.12.2014 2014-12-05
SSAU scientists Sergey Zvonov, Engineer of Software Innovation Management, and Andrey Gavrilov, Head of Administration on Scientific Personnel Training, presented developments of the University at the International Exhibition- Seoul International Fair (SIIF-2014).

International Forum was held in Seoul (South Korea) from November 28 to December 1. Scientists from 34 countries submitted 723 developments there.

The exposition of Samara State Aerospace University was part of the exposition of the Russian Federation. SSAU experts presented four developments that aroused a great interest among the exposition visitors. Each of them has been awarded.

In particular, the international expert jury awarded a gold medal to elastic-damping metal porous material metal-rubber. Acoustic internal combustion engine and magnetic pulse technologies were awarded silver medals. Magnetic pulse technologies were marked with a special award of the Taiwan Association of Inventors. The project "Thin-walled piping components" was awarded a bronze medal.

During the forum discussions of the demonstrated projects and their development prospects were held with representatives of organizations from Korea, China, Russia and other countries. The developments of Russian exhibitors were awarded 37 medals and 11 special awards.

For the record
Elastic-damping porous material M-R
This material was developed in SSAU and proved itself in extreme operation conditions. It is particularly effective when exposed to intense dynamic loads, high and low temperatures, in conditions of vacuum, radiation and corrosive environments inherent in operating aircraft, space rocketry. The material relevance is subject to the high demand for protection of various objects from vibration.

Acoustic internal combustion engine
Incandescent resonant two-stroke internal combustion microjet with acoustic exhaust system SCORPIO-S-33-2,5. This system allows increasing engine power significantly due to the use of wave processes, organized with the help of the resonance tube at the outlet.

Magnetic pulse technology
This technology is used to produce fixed joints of hollow parts (among themselves or with bearing parts) operating under axial or torsional loads, providing tightness and vacuum-tight.

Thin-walled piping components
SSAU scientists developed the ways to intensify technical processes of pipeline components formation (elbows, three-way joints).
