How international female students crafted fragrances and found inner harmony

    26.03.2026 1970-01-01

In the lead-up to International Women’s Day, the International Student Club “Sputnik” transformed a university classroom into a welcoming space of beauty, creativity, and psychological well-being. The event was specially designed for international female students, offering them a unique opportunity to explore and unlock their inner potential.

The program went far beyond a simple break from studies—it invited participants to engage deeply with key aspects of self-perception and personal growth. A rich, multidimensional agenda seamlessly blended psychology, creative expression, and somatic practices.

The day opened with a thought-provoking workshop titled “Feminine Energy: How to Unlock It.” The participants explored topics of self-esteem, reflected on what makes each of them uniquely valuable, and learned practical techniques for self-development.

This introspective journey continued with a session using metaphorical associative cards—a powerful psychological tool that, while resembling a game, helped many attendees gain fresh insights into their hidden desires, internal resources, emotions, and motivations.

Yet the most vivid—and undoubtedly the most aromatic—highlight of the event was a perfume-making masterclass. The students stepped into the role of perfumers, blending top, heart, and base notes to compose personalized fragrance accords. Each woman created a one-of-a-kind scent—a tangible, sensory reminder of her individuality and of this special day.

The evening concluded with a calming guided meditation focused on restoring emotional balance. This reflective practice gently transitioned into a cozy tea reception featuring Eastern sweets—an unhurried moment to share impressions, compare newly crafted perfumes, and simply enjoy warm, festive conversation in the days before the holiday.

Organizers from the University’s Socio-Psychological Support Center emphasized that such events not only support the adaptation and emotional well-being of international students far from home but also foster a genuinely warm, inclusive, and family-like atmosphere across the university community.
