Students of Samara University at the Volga Federal District Student Brigade Gathering

The gathering of student brigades for the Volga Federal District (VFD) takes place every autumn. This year, it was held from October 16-19 in the city of Kazan. The headquarters from Samara University not only attended but also participated in the "Time of Leaders" competition, in the "Best Student Brigade Headquarters" nomination. The representatives were Elizavena Gritsenko, the commander of the headquarters, and Vladimir Karakutsa, the master.

The first round took place on October 17. Participants presented their roadmaps and took a test on theoretical knowledge in their field of competence. A lecture was held between these two events for a brief respite, which explained how to respond competently in contentious situations.

The second round, the main one, took place on October 18 and was no less intense. Contestants presented their project for solving an internal issue, and then presented their plans for commissarial work.

The closing ceremony of the gathering was held on the evening of October 18, where the results of all platforms were summarized. The outcome was our victory. The "Krylya" Student Construction Brigade took 1st place in the ratings and was named the best student brigade headquarters in the Volga Federal District.

One of the participants, Vladimir Karakutsa, shared his impressions after these busy days: "Despite the large number of events behind us, the 15th student brigade gathering caused excitement and a cascade of vivid emotions. All the events we attended were of a high standard, as was the organization of the 'Time of Leaders' competition. Each in-person stage was competently planned, which caused no problems or questions.

The culmination of the gathering was the closing ceremony, where the 'Krylya' SСB took first place in the 'Best Headquarters' nomination. It was a huge sensation that confirmed the strength of our unity and our ability to reach the top even on a district-wide scale."
