Space-flight trainers are tested simultaneously on Earth and in orbit during the whole year.
A running path, as it is called by specialists is the newest and most advanced space-flight trainer. Although its view reminds those that are in the every gym in the Earth, in fact it is a powerful computer, wrapped in materials that are not afraid of space loads.

There are training plans of all astronauts on the station in the computer memory. Every day there are different loads: now it is a short-distance sprint race, then it is a long morning run at a leisurely pace.

A special sensor measures pulse rate and immediately transmits the figures on the screen. All data will be transferred to Earth. Doctors of the Institute of Biomedical Problems examine it carefully. A loading suit is one of the main attributes of training in a zero gravity, belts net tightly encircles the body.

When running astronaut kicks the path so much that the emerging vibration can destroy the station. However, in fact the strikes do not reach the International Space Station. Special vibration isolation system is a soft pillow. Samara State Aerospace University developed this vibration isolation system. It received a positive assessment of our astronauts during testing.
